If we do not use no Palm oil , then what does Urvija have in place of it ?

Substituting Palm oil with ingredients from alternative sustainable sources is our mainstay to fight against Climate change . We use Non Timber Forest Products eg. seeds and flowers from Madhuca, Kusum, Palash Flowers, Sal seeds as our oil sources. We are keenly monitoring our carbon footprints and consciously exploring to substitute the exotic ingredients and replace it with quality local ingredients , bringing to you a world class skin solution in the end.

One of our endeavors is empowerment of underprivileged women and Local youth via employment generation. We contribute in providing decent work opportunities along with skill building to empower them financially. Livelihoods generated locally in turn is helping upliftment of immediate community .

We are also registered with Board of Biodiversity and are participating in Access Benefit Sharing programme.

Women who are recruited were unskilled. We are imparting necessary training on an ongoing basis and now they are able to work under minimal supervision including few of the team members getting elevated to supervisory roles.

Putting our thoughts and minds to sustainable packaging we systematically discard single use plastics for our fast-moving products. Our main mantra is “RECYLE, REUSE & RESTORE” .We explored partnership on the agenda and are working with “SN Greenovation” for our recycling initiative and encourage our valuable customers to be a part of this campaign.

To protect life below water and life on land, we ensure zero toxin residue from our finished products and in our production process.
